Layered Mountain Silicone Mold

$90.00

This Lotus silicone mold features two layers, is 10" wide and 6" tall. Each layer is .25 inch thick, with the top layer being .375 wide to give plenty of room for different techniques or materials for casting.

**Edited to add, we had an oops/typos we didn’t catch and engraved onto the master mold saying 8” and total estimated volume, but it is in fact a 10” mold so volume will not be as accurate, sincerest apologies!

THIS LISTING IS FOR THE SILICONE MOLD ONLY.

PLEASE BE AWARE of your manufacturers max depth if you are using resin or epoxy. Pouring deeper than what your products was made for can cause unstable exothermic reactions that can lead to extremely high heat, fumes and damaged molds. You should pour in layers or use a deep pour or casting resin that is made for deeper molds such as this.

All molds are made to order and can take 1-5 days to finish depending on the mold or qty ordered. Once ordered, you will be notified by email when your item ships.

All molds are made of a durable high quality non-stick silicone tolerant up to 450 degrees F. Properly cared for, they will last you a long time and many casts. To best extend the life of your mold and keep the shine they should be washed in warm water with hand soap or any other non harsh chemical.

PLEASE NOTE: A torch should not be used to clear bubbles from resin while using a silicone mold. The flame from a torch or lighter left to close to the edge of a silicone mold can easily push it beyond what the mold is rated for and cause tearing or sticking of your resin when demolding. A heat gun is much better suited to clear bubbles while working with silicone molds.
